Overview

Nursing profession is “THE BACK BONE” of all Health care Services. The primary responsibility of nurse is to help individuals in their daily pattern of living or with those activities that they ordinarily perform without assistance. Nurses deliver their services for treatment, safety and recovery of acutely or chronically ill or injured people, health maintenance and treatment of life threatening emergencies in a wide range of health care settings. In other words, a nurse is the eyes of the blind, means of Locomotion for the paralyzed, mouthpiece of the dumb, ears of the deaf and love for life to the desperate.

By understanding this need of hour Dr. Vishwanath D. karad has taken step towards MIMSR College of nursing. This MIMSR College of Nursing is committed to inculcate this attitude in its students. It strives towards preparing its students to become dedicated and selfless workforce for humanity.

MIMSR College of nursing (20 Seats) and Midwifery Course and started B.Sc. Nursing (50 Seats ) In the year 2005.The college is affiliated to The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik Govt. of Maharashtra , Mumbai Nursing Council, as well as to the Indian Nursing Council.

It is spread over 100 acres of campus in the outskirt of Latur, called Vishwanathpuram. On the same campus we have medical, Dental and physical college too.

The candidates are selected on the basis of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET), conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.

RANM & RGNM

The college is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of health sciences Nashik (MUHS). The college has intake capacity of 50 students. AMUPDMC Maharashtra does the admission on merit basis depending on the marks obtained by them in the associate CET entrance examination conducted by the AMUPMDC. Out of 50 seats 80% (42 seats) are admitted through associate CET and 15% (08 seats) are reserved for NRI. Candidates willing to get admission for this quota are admitted by the management.

Eligibility Criteria

Under Graduate:

B Sc (Nursing)

Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with at least 45% marks in aggregate in Science stream, from any recognized state/national Board, is required to be eligible for this programme.

RANM

  • HSC Examination (10+2) Pass (Art, Commerce, Science)
  • The minimum age for admission shall be 18 completed years on or before 31st July of the year I which admission is sought.
  • The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
  • The candidates are females only
  • Admission is subject to satisfactory of medical examination report

RGNM

  • HSC Examination (10+2) (Science Faculty) with 45% marks for Open Category and 40% marks for Open Category is essential.
  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years should be completed on or before 31st July of the year in which admission is sought.

Admission is subjected to satisfactory of medical report
