The official team of MIT-WPU secured the first rank in the Overall Virtual Dynamic Events in the Piranha Racing Competition in the year 2021 in the m-BAJA SAEINDIA 2021 Category, along with AIR 1 rank in categories like Gradeability, Acceleration, All-Terrain Performance, and Suspension and Traction. In 2022, the team secured second place overall. The piranha racing competition is organized by SAEINDIA, a non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of the mobility community in India.
