ABOUT US

Maharashtra Institute of Physiotherapy (MIPT) was established in 2005 and it has emerged as one of the pioneer institutes in the field of physiotherapy. At present, MIPT is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. At present, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPTh) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPTh) with four specialities such as Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, Neuro-Physiotherapy, Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy and Community Physiotherapy are offered by the institute. MIPT faculties are strongly committed to provide skills and value-based learning considering the social needs. We emphasise on imparting excellent education to our students in an encouraging environment with latest and modern infrastructure. Our 7000 bedded YCR hospital within the campus provides excellent knowledge and skills to our students. The education and training are designed and guided by well experienced medical and physiotherapy professionals for overall development of the students so as to make them value-based physiotherapists.

When we emphasise on giving excellent education to our students in an encouraging environment, we pay equal attention to all aspects of the personality development of our students. We provide them ample opportunities for giving expression to their inner literary and artistic talents, as well as sportsmanship. We want our students to be well-educated and well-trained and to become responsible Physiotherapists.
