Maharashtra Institute of Optometry was established in 2019 under the dynamic MAEER Trust, Pune. The institute is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The Institute is recognised for 20 intake Capacity Per Year. Admission in the college is regulated by CET Cell and Government of Maharashtra DMER. The college is situated in the vast campus of MIMSR Medical College, Latur. The Institute is the only one attached to the Medical College Campus, which offers the students more opportunities. The institute is among the best in Maharashtra with complete admissions in the last 5 years. The institute is also known for its equipment infrastructure along with sufficient clinical material and patient flow. Activities of the Department & local management like Eye camp are helpful for the improvement and maintenance of clinical materials and patient flow.
